First Home Buyers that were looking for 2 bedroom apartment in low-rise block with close proximity to local shops and transport links. They needed to purchase on a short timeframe as their lease was ending and for under $900,000 to take advantage of the first home buyer concessions. Ideally anywhere from Lane Cove to St Leonards which fit the criteria they would consider.

After a short 3 week search, we highlighted a property off-market in Lane Cove. It featured two bedrooms with green aspect, over 80sqm internally, set back from the street and recently renovated. We were one of a handful of buyers to inspect the property which gave us the unique position of negotiating against less competition. We inspected the property on Saturday and purchased it 48 hours later for a price that was less than the client’s budget and the owners expectations. Given the limited amount of stock which is typical during winter and the first home buyer market becoming highly competitive, it was an exceptional outcome for our clients.
